Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases of digital goods sold by Ambiguous Interactive, LLC (“we” or “us”).
For purchases made through third-party storefronts or payment partners (including FastSpring, Steam, Apple App Store, Google Play, Epic Games Store, itch.io, and similar platforms), refund availability may also be governed by the applicable third-party storefront or payment partner terms.
Thanks for purchasing our products from Ambiguous Interactive. Due to the digital nature of our products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, except as set forth below.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, a refund for purchased products may be provided to a purchaser at Ambiguous Interactive’s sole discretion in the event that the purchaser: (i) has not received, downloaded, accessed, or used the purchased product within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase; (ii) did not receive the product due to a verifiable delivery issue; (iii) has technical difficulties using the product and we are unable to resolve the issue after reasonable troubleshooting; (iv) feels that the product’s description is materially misleading or the product has been materially misrepresented compared to its description at the time of purchase, provided your refund request must identify the specific representation and why you believe it was misleading in your refund request; or (v) has placed a duplicate order.
We may also issue a refund if we determine, in our sole discretion, that an order is fraudulent, unauthorized, or associated with abuse of our services, we may issue or deny a refund depending on the circumstances, and we may take additional action including immediate termination of the account, cancellation of access, or refusal of future purchases. We may also report the suspected fraud to our payment processor, and, where appropriate, law enforcement.

Customer name
The unique order ID provided upon purchase
Product purchased
Reason for refund
Refund requests must be made within seven (7) days of product purchase, or forty-eight (48) hours if you have not downloaded, accessed, or used the product since its purchase. We may request additional information to evaluate eligibility. If your refund request is accepted, Ambiguous Interactive will work with its payment processor to process the refund promptly. Processing times vary by payment method and financial institution.
For EU/UK Residents: Right of Withdrawal:
a. Pursuant to the EU Consumer Rights Directive (the “Directive”), all purchasers who are residents of the European Union or United Kingdom have a right to withdrawal from any purchase of Products or other goods or services, whether digital or physical (collectively “Goods”) made via the services, for any reason. For any Goods that you purchase online, you agree that the withdrawal period will expire upon the sooner of fourteen (14) days after you purchase the Goods or fourteen (14) days after you download such Goods. For any physical Goods, your right to withdrawal will expire fourteen (14) days after you take possession of the Goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must provide us an unequivocal statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase and no longer access or have use of the purchased product. Specifically, your statement must include:
(1) customer name;
(2) the unique order ID provided upon purchase;
(3) date of request; and
(4) the following statement: “I hereby give notice of my decision to withdraw from the purchase of the following (Goods that you purchased, along with the date of purchase).”
b. Effects of Right of Withdrawal: In the event you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will, within 14 days of the request, reimburse all payments received from you with respect to the applicable Goods, provided that if you made use of the Goods, we may deduct from the reimbursement an amount proportional to such use. We will reimburse you via the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction. Please note that, upon your exercise of the right to withdrawal, you will no longer have access to the applicable Goods.
c. Exceptions of the Right to Withdrawal: You acknowledge and agree that your right to withdrawal will not apply in the following circumstances, among others:
- Service contracts after the service has been fully performed if the performance has begun with your prior express consent, and with the acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed;
- Any Goods that are made to your specifications or are personalized;
- Any Goods that, after delivery, according to their nature, are inseparably mixed from other items;
- The supply of sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery;
- The supply of digital Goods which are not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun, subject to your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal
Chargebacks and Abuse:
If Ambiguous Interactive receives notice from its payment processor that a customer has initiated a chargeback rather than use the refund policy set forth herein or if a purchaser abuses the refund policy in Ambiguous Interactive’s sole discretion, Ambiguous Interactive reserves the right to contest chargebacks we believe are improper or inconsistent with this Policy, and to close the relevant purchaser account and terminate a purchaser’s access to its products using all forms of contact information collected by Ambiguous Interactive.
